Off the entertaining space, there are three terraces which totals 752 square feet. Designed in a traditional style by architect Peter Pennoyer, the 15-unit, 18-story new condo building called The Benson is under construction between 79th and 80th Street. The No. 2 contract was PHB at 7 Hubert Street, asking $21 million. This penthouse condo, which was designed by architect Thierry Despont, has 4,200 square feet and includes 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, an office, a media room, and 360-degree views. The amenities of this building include a doorman, fitness center, children’s playroom, bike room, and storage.
With the market moving into high gear, local and out-of-state buyers are heading to the New York metro region despite the ongoing pandemic. For all the same reason: the city’s culture and commerce, New York real estate market is continuing to reinforce the fact that its market is always going to be resilient and that extraordinary apartments still sell for extraordinary prices.
