Ending the final week of September on a strong note, 21 contracts were signed at $4 million and above last week.

The No. 1 contract was South Penthouse B at 565 Broome Street, asking $30 million. This duplex has 4,430 square feet, and includes 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms, and a 3,437 square feet terrace that features a 20-foot heated pool. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, 565 Broome Street offers luxury amenities which includes a concierge, fitness center, a 55-foot indoor lap pool, a sauna, a yoga studio, a children’s playroom, and parking.

The No. 2 contract was PHAC at 35 North Moore Street, asking $20 million. This duplex condo is 2 units combined, totaling 7,200 square feet, and includes 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms. There are 2 terraces, which comes to 3,200 square feet, and the apartment features a great room with 17-foot ceilings. The unit is owned by retired NBA star Deron Williams. The building does not have a doorman.

Last week’s number of contracts signed has been the highest since March, when the lockdown was starting to happen. As more energy is building up in the city, more activities and deals are happening, which is an encouraging sign for the real estate market and the city.
