Last week, fourteen contracts were signed at $4 million and above.
The No. 1 contract was PH37 at 520 West 28th Street, asking $24.975 million. This triplex has 6,853 square feet, and includes 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, roof terrace with over 2,000 square feet, and features a sculptural staircase and an interior elevator.
520 West 28th Street was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid in a modern style. This 40-unit condo has a bold design, incorporating hand-crafted metal, glass-curtain walls, and curved balconies, which all overlooks The High Line.
The No. 2 contract was Penthouse at 744 Greenwich Street, asking $12.95 million. This duplex condo has 3,457 square feet, and includes 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The unit features a 48-foot living room with a fireplace and a master bedroom with a balcony. Upstairs, there is a kitchen, dining room, and a 1,100-square-foot wraparound terrace.
Another week of going over the 10-mark. Although it’s been a less efficient market overall, last week’s number of contracts signed were the highest total in the last 4 weeks. Buyers are becoming aware of the opportunity the city is presenting, as activities are picking up and contracts are being signed.
